From Strategy to Scrolls—Boosting Visibility for MVNU Online

Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Graduate and Professional Studies division turned to Rawcut Creative for one reason: results. Since January 2025, we’ve served as their go-to marketing partner for everything from SEO strategy and blog content creation to social media graphics and branded storytelling. In a few short months, we’ve redefined how they show up online—and the numbers prove it.

The Challenge

MVNU’s adult degree programs offer flexibility, affordability, and faith-centered learning—but too few prospective students were discovering those advantages online. MVNU had the right pieces in place—but they needed a partner to help bring it all together. From refining SEO strategy to elevating blog content and strengthening their social presence, our goal was to build on their foundation and accelerate results.

Our Solution

We rebuilt the blog strategy from the ground up: every post now speaks to real questions, goals, and hesitations of working adults considering a return to school. Simultaneously, we developed a long-term SEO roadmap, optimized existing content, and created new location-based landing pages for key program markets.

On social, we introduced branded graphics and storytelling that align with MVNU’s voice, keeping the focus on student success, faith, and possibility. Everything we created—whether it lived on a search engine or in a social feed—was built to drive engagement and action.

The Results

By June 2025, MVNU realized a 309% increase in ranking keywords compared to the same period in 2024. That includes a 796% lift in keywords ranking in positions 1–10.

Organic sessions to MVNU.edu also spiked in January—the month our work began—and held steady in the 40–50K range throughout the spring.
